Coffee has become an important part of our lives. Without coffee you have little focus. Some people drink coffee to warm themselves up after a walk. Some to start the day right. But of course you mainly drink coffee because it is so delicious. But where does coffee actually come from?

 

Origin of coffee

Most people think that much of the coffee comes from Italy. Unfortunately, that is impossible: coffee could grow there, but never enough to actually run production.

The added photo shows the equator and two tropics. These are called the Tropic of Capricorn and the Tropic of Cancer. Between these two parallels, the soil is very good and it is favorable to be able to grow coffee. This is also the reason that it is also called coffee belt.
